Every once and a while, I’m reminded why I love living in St. Louis.
WU Shall Not Pops
Last Saturday, I performed in yet another WU Pops Orchestra concert. This year, the concert title was “WU Shall Not Pops” and the theme color was purple. My favorite thing about this concert is that my friends and family attended, even though it was the Saturday before finals week. The most memorable moment of the night, other than performing, was grabbing Insomnia Cookies right after 1.5 hours of playing! ☺

The Music Department at Washington University offers students many performance opportunities. One of the most exciting and intimate programs is its chamber music program, directed by Dee Sparks, the Director of Strings. It is perfect for students who want to experience playing music with other musicians in a small chamber string ensembles, like in a trio, quartet, or even octet!

Hi everyone! My name is Nancy. I am so excited to be one of the new bloggers for WUSTL 360! I am currently double majoring in International and Area Studies (with a concentration in Global Cultural Studies) and minoring in music.
