From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. earlier on today (Sunday, April 12th), the Washington University Symphony Orchestra and Choirs presented the annual Chancellor’s Concert. The concert was held in the E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall in the 560 Music Center. Steven Jarvi (orchestra) and Nicole Aldrich (choirs) were the conductors, and the concert featered Kate Reimann (soprano) and Keith Boyer (tenor). The program consisted of operatic favorites of Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Strauss, and Wagner. Following the performance, there was a Friends of Music reception hosted by Chancellor Mark Wrighton.
