Top 3 Tips for a Successful College Career

Here is some advice I was given before coming to college, as well as when I made my way to WashU. I hope these tips can help you like they helped me.

Little Lessons from Undergrad, Part I

I came into my undergraduate career bright-eyed, bushy tailed, and with no idea what to expect. I was full of hope and even some expectations. Even though college isn’t wilding different than what I originally imagined, I’ve learned and experienced many new things. These new things were a mixture of good moments, bad moments, and even some that fall on neither side. In this article, I will be sharing little lessons I’ve learned over the course of my undergrad years.

It’s Major Declaration Day!

Today, February 22nd, 2021, is scary, exciting, troubling, and stressful for a lot of us sophomores. Today, we officially declare our majors. And although the action is as simple as clicking a couple buttons on WebSTAC, it is a day where many of us have to sit down and think about our futures. Some people […]

My Semester Abroad…In Washington DC

At Wash U, there are a ton of different study abroad options should you choose to take a semester and go explore somewhere new. Because I’m doing the Brown School 3-2 program, I knew that if I wanted to go ~abroad~, I should do it as early as possible. In all honesty, I was looking […]

Women in STEM Panel

My favorite thing about being a STEM major is the fact that I am a woman majoring in STEM. I love that I defied the odds and chose a major that is usually chosen by men. Everyday, I’m reminded that I am serving as a representation that it can be done. I am sure I’m […]

The New Normal- Managing Campus Life during COVID

To say that COVID has changed every aspect of life, would simply be an understatement.

WashU Cares About YOU

A Day in My Life with Online Classes

Online classes have naturally changed the way WashU students go about their days. Here’s a look at a day in my life during this strange semester!

Class Highlight: U.S Foreign Policy

One of the most interesting classes I’ve taken in my years at WashU has been a class I’m taking this semester, U.S Foreign Policy. As an International and Area Studies major, I already had an interest in foreign policy. However, the format of this class makes the topic fascinating regardless. The simulation exercises that take […]

5 Things I Learned 1st Semester| WashU 360

Hey guys, I am finally done with my first semester and learned so much about life at WashU! Here’s my 5 things I learned 1st semester!

What I Learned During My First Semester

It has officially been a week into my second semester of college. Over winter break, I had some time to reflect on my first semester at WashU, so here are three things I learned during my first semester of college! Time management is key to getting things done. I know it’s been said by everyone […]

Dual-Degree Engineering Students Can Have Fun Too!

Some would say one of the worst times during college is the week of final exams. I would be the one to say it is actually THE worst time during the semester. The whole idea behind cramming a semester’s worth of material for 5 different classes in one week, all to pass an exam that’s […]

Snack Time! First steps into the Anthropology of Food

Last semester, I found something I loved in the readings and lectures of my Introduction to Cultural Anthropology class. This year, I am diving deeper into Anthropology with an upper-level seminar: The Anthropology of Food.

Chancellor Martin’s Inauguration

On a clear, crisp October afternoon, Wash U officially welcomed Andrew Martin as its 15th chancellor.

Looking back: Lessons from my first year

My first year at WashU taught me so much, both academically and otherwise. Here’s some helpful tips I picked up along the way!

My Scholarship Programs at WashU!

When I traveled to campus this time last year for Scholars Weekend, I thought that the merit scholarships I would be interviewed for were monetary awards and nothing else. However, as the weekend went by, I quickly realized that the program would be so much more than that. With Scholars Weekend fast approaching, here’s a look into my experience with my scholarships for those who might be about to arrive on campus as scholarship finalists!
