Hello! My name is Kristine and I’m from Naperville, Illinois. Currently, I’m studying Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences and will be a sophomore in the fall. I absolutely loved the classes that I took my first year and got to know a few of my professors pretty well. Some of my fondest memories from freshman year were weekend brunches and dinners with my suitemates and attending the various cultural and a capella shows on campus. When I’m not studying or hanging out with friends, you can find me at dance practice for the cultural performance group, Lunar New Year Festival, volunteering with Partners East St. Louis or at work. WashU has quickly become my home away from home and I’m excited to share my experiences with you!

Work Study at WashU

I came to work expecting just money; I ended up leaving with so much more. This experience was so integral to my WashU experience that I’ll be working at the Skandalaris Center again next year!
