Classics, Data Science and the Humanities and Psychology, 2020

Hey guys! I’m Chris, and I’m currently a sophomore in the College of Arts & Science majoring in Classics and double minoring in Data Science and the Humanities and Psychology. Additionally, I have plans of pursuing a 3+2 program in the Olin Business School to either earn an MBA or an MS in Business Analytics (the jury is still out). After graduation, I hope to get involved in anti-money laundering or corporate research and marketing. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, going to Bread Co., and watching TV. I’m so excited to share my time here at WashU with you all and give you a little glimpse into what it’s like to go here!

The first thing people think of when they think of Classics is old statues and epic poetry. But here, at WashU, I have fallen in love with the field and just how surprisingly “modern” it can be!

Ice Cream and Equality

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is my new favorite place to eat in St. Louis, and this weekend I ventured to their Central West End location for Ice Cream for Breakfast Day to help support She Should Run, a nonprofit which aims to increase the number of women running for public office.
