UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS at WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY in ST. LOUIS

WuStock 2017

WuStock is an all-day festival held each year at the Swamp, hosted by Congress of the South 40. This year, WuStock featured the Grammy Award winning artist, Daya! She performed her most famous songs, including singing The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down.”

In the past few years, WuStock headliners have included BORNS, MKTO, and Walk the Moon. This year, the festival had Vincent Van Doughnuts, free food (cheese toasted raviolis, corn-dogs, and frozen virgin margs), an inflatable obstacle course, guest performances by student bands, and special DJs (DJ Glenn MacDonald and DJ Zach Alter)!

Below are some snapchats of the event from yesterday (my friends and I tried our best to squeeze our way to the front of the crowd)!

As you can probably tell from the snap videos, so many Wash U students showed up and the weather was absolutely amazing. I had two tickets and spent them both on corn-dogs (that adds up to FOUR corn-dogs)! My friends and I had so much fun singing along with Daya. We did not believe it when we heard that she was only 18 years old– she’s so talented. There is no better way to spend April Fools Day!
