Hello everyone! My name is Assiatou. I am from Detroit, Michigan. I look forward to sharing my favorite things about WashU.
I am a rising junior in the Olin Business School. I am studying Entrepreneurship and Marketing. I love having the opportunity to study the intricacies of business. I think business creation is an art of its own and something I have been able to explore during my time here. Marketing speaks to my interest in people and their perception of value.
Now that we have covered all of the basics, I will tell you what is really important about me. I LOVE FOOD. My favorite thing about this campus is the abundance of free food. The first event of the school year for an abundance of free food is the Business School’s welcome back BBQ. The deans serve us heaps of food. It is a great way to start off the school year.
I continue the year by participating in activities that bring me closer to free food. I am a program leader with the Campus Y. They always have snacks and candy in the office. In the space they have a full kitchen so the possibilities are endless. Another program I participate in called Learning 2 Live provides lunch for the local high school students we bring to campus. I get to mentor and eat.
If you are looking for something light, a lot of people keep snacks and candy on their desks. So happy hunting and I will keep my list of free food updated.
