Daniel Giuffra, a freshman and Annika Rodriguez Scholar, discussed his anti-smoking work as part of a recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration news conference announcing a new campaign to curb tobacco use among at-risk youth.
Daniel is president of the Tobacco Free Missouri Youth Advisory Board. He discussed the tobacco cessation and prevention programs that he has been involved with over the past three years, including work with Casa de Salud, a nonprofit health clinic serving the St. Louis Hispanic community.
