If you ever find yourself in Brazil you must immediately head to the magical land of Paraty, stay in the hostel called Sereia do Mar for delicious pizza and a live band, and take an all day boat trip out into the crystal clear blue waters of the Atlantic. I spent two days here with three other friends from WashU who also have internships in Brazil for the Summer, and we had a great relaxing get away.
