I recently learned that WashU’s En-council (Engineering council) has been rated as one of the top ten En-councils in the country. They put on a variety of exciting events throughout the year for engineers as well as for the entire WashU community. Every Wednesday they host something called Cheap Lunch in Lopata Gallery. For just a small fee you can get pizza, chips, cookies, and soda for lunch and support Encouncil at the same time! It is a great way to hang out with friends (trust me – engineers aren’t the only ones who take advantage of Cheap Lunch).

If you are not in a pizza mood when you arrive on Wednesday to Lopata you can also go to Stanley’s cafe right across from where En-council sets up. They offer wraps, hot dogs, the infamous Lopata Tower sandwich, sandwiches, soups, and a variety of to go items! Both Cheap Lunch and Stanley’s are excellent options for lunch on campus.
