I have decided that, modeled after the Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show clip at the end of his show, I will begin a Friday afternoon post called “Moment of Zen”. The aim is to get you to think and keep you, as readers, on your toes.
So here’s this week’s “Moment of Zen”:
The other day when I sat down at my computer – bored and seeking inspiration. My fingers instinctively began to type the words “TED” into the google search bar and suddenly I remembered many hours spent watching captivating TEDTalks. In case you don’t know what TED is it stands for Technology, Education, and Design and it features different entrepreneurs, performers, educators, researchers, you name it – on the show presenting their latest adventures. The most moving TEDTalk I ever watched was by Sarah Kay called “If I should have a daughter.” Her spoken word poetry is breathtaking and reminds me of our very own WUSlam group.
